Rebecca Jansma didn’t begin her career in design. For 15 years, she worked in the sciences, including haematology, microbiology and the management of mining laboratories. Throughout that time, however, she felt a persistent pull towards creativity.

After much soul-searching, Rebecca retrained at RMIT and launched what would become a thriving studio: Rebecca Jansma Interior Design.

Her science background continues to shape her work. She brings precision, discipline and an analytical eye to every project, combining those skills with artistic expression.

The result is a collection of interiors that are both beautiful and functional—crafted with the rigour of a scientist and the soul of an artist.
