Easy-Read Terms & Conditions (Plain-Language Summary)

This page explains how we work in simple terms. It doesn’t replace our full legal Terms & Conditions—those still apply. If anything here differs from the legal version, the legal version wins. Read the full Terms & Conditions of Trade.

  • Risk passes to you once goods are delivered or collected.

4. Timber Supply & Natural Variation

  • Natural timbers (e.g., Clear Pine and KDHW) are supplied in random lengths — not fixed lengths.
  • We supply by lineal metre and provide a mix of lengths. This is normal practice and supports sustainability.
  • Timber varies naturally in grain, colour, and texture — this is not a defect.

5. Doors & Product Care

  • Doors must be stored flat and sealed on all edges.
  • Dark colours on external doors may cause movement and void the warranty.
  • Professional installation and compliance with relevant Australian Standards is strongly recommended.

6. Returns & Issues

  • Check your order within 5 business days of delivery.
  • If something’s wrong, tell us in writing so we can fix it.
  • Custom items can’t be returned unless required by law or pre-approved.

7. Late Payments & Cancellations

  • Overdue accounts may attract late fees and delivery pauses.
  • Custom orders can’t be cancelled after production starts.
  • Please ensure safe site access for deliveries.
  • We protect your privacy in line with Australian law.
  • Our business operates under Victorian law (with other states’ requirements applying where relevant).

Quick Tip

For natural timber mouldings, always order a little extra (5–10%) to allow for cutting and installation on site.

Customer Fact Sheet

Frequently Asked Question

“Can I order my timber mouldings in setlengths (e.g., 2.7 m, 3.6 m, or 5.4 m)?”

  • The short answer: No — and here’s why.
  • Natural timbers are grown, not manufactured. Unlike engineered products such as MRMDF and finger-jointed pine (which are produced in controlled lengths), Clear Pine and KDHW are milled from real trees.
  • Trees vary in height, taper, and structure.
  • This means the timber we receive comes in random lengths, not uniform sizes.
Supplying only fixed lengths would mean cutting and wasting perfectly good
timber, driving up costs and harming sustainable forestry practices.

What “random lengths” means for yourorder

  • We supply timber by the lineal metre, not by set lengths.
  • Your order will be made up of a mix of lengths based on available stock.
  • We always aim for a practical balance — not all short pieces, not all long.
  • Exact set lengths cannot be guaranteed.

Why this is standard practice

  • Industry standard across Australia and internationally
  • Reduces waste and supports sustainable timber use
  • Keeps pricing fair and consistent
  • Gives installers flexibility to work efficiently on site

How to plan your project

  • Allow for at least an extra 5–10% in your order to
account for cutting and optimisation on site.
  • Plan moulding runs with flexibility in length.
  • Use offcuts smartly to minimise waste.

Key takeaway

Trees don’t grow in set lengths — and
neither can natural timber.

Ordering by lineal metre is the most practical, sustainable and cost-effective
way to receive quality timber mouldings.
